With the purpose of improving the road infrastructure of Villagrán, Guanajuato, DEACERO made a donation of 3,000 tons of gravacero to the administration of the municipality.
The signing of the donation agreement took place in the municipal presidency, in the presence of the mayor Juan Lara Mendoza, the City Council secretary Edgar Alejandro Gasca Elías, and the director of Desarrollo Social, María Guadalupe Aguado. As representatives of Grupo DEACERO, attended Carlos Garza and Felipe Gómez from the Dirección de Asuntos Corporativos y Comercio Internacional, as well as Alicia Núñez and Berenice Villalobos from Fundación DEACERO.
In the course of the next weeks, the municipality will collect the gravacero to apply it in the municipality and in the communities of El Caracol, Sarabia and Cerrito de las Hierbas.
On April of the present year, Fundación DEACERO along with the municipality, launched the program Madrinas DEACERO, in which wives and partners of the collaborators from DEACERO volunteer in the task of identifying the necessities of priority in the community, and promote project management of improvement or resources with the local authorities.
This took place in the 70 years anniversary of DEACERO, that since its foundation, it looks the development and economic growth of the communities in which it´s present. Before this donation, the company inaugurated its Macrohub Bajío, that reiterates its commitment with the development, investment and generation of jobs in the region.
